Bed, Breakfast and Murder?

Lizzie Borden took an axe
And gave her mother forty whacks.
And when she saw what she had done,
She gave her father forty-one.

If you're ever in Fall River, Massachusetts, you may want to check out Lizzie Borden Museum. Oh and if you ever want a good laugh, try and get me to say the state name Massachusetts. For some reason, it always comes out Massachewet or Massachewssis, but I digress.

For about $225 a night you can stay at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast and stay in Lizzie's room. In the morning you'll be served food that's similar to what Lizzie's mom & dad ate before she killed them. Bananas, jonny-cakes & sugar cookies - a breakfast to die for?

People are apparently willing to spend big bucks to visit the home of a murderess. Would you be willing to take a whack at it?

Uh, no thanks. *g* Even though the gang from Ghost Hunters found no ghostly activity there, I don't think I'd be willing to take a whack at it. LOL!

That is a little too creepy for me although people get their kicks in very mysterious ways.

Tori, I never knew Ghost Hunters went there. I really must take a look at that show one day!

I grew up in an old house and there were plenty of strange goings on and noises in the middle of the night so I don't think it would worry me. That said, I wouldn't have any desire to seek out a grisly room to spend the night in. Over here in England we have a show called 'Most Haunted' - I assume it's similar to Ghost Hunters but our show can be incredibly camp! My local pub has a ghostly history too - http://www.bearathodnet.co.uk/ - there is a glass floor over the bear pit so you can look in!!!
