Groundhog Day

While I'm enjoying the company of friend Mary J. Forbes and having writing related (and non-writing related) discussions, it has come to my attention that old furry butt saw his shadow.
Six more weeks of winter? I don't think so. I demand a recount. I say we drag the damn rodent out of his hole tomorrow and make him try again.

How about you? Sick of winter yet?

Given we've spent the last five days without power thanks to an ice storm, I'm SO over winter.

And how old is that groundhog know, anyway? He's been around for decades! He MUST be senile! *g*

I'm ready for spring and the pretty flowers, despite my allergies.

Tori, 5 days without power must've been awful! I agree that grumpy ol' groundhog must be senile!!

Wendy, I think the rodent had blinders on. Two weeks ago I saw a robin in my backyard. Now THAT'S a sign of spring, IMO!

Phil in Pennsylvania saw his shadow; Chuck in NY didn't. :grumble: stupid woodchucks :grumble:

I saw a robin a few days ago. That's what tells me spring is on its way. =oD
