4 Stars!!

Romantic Times gave DEAD AND KICKING four stars! I went to my local book store to pick up the magazine in order to read the full review but it isn't in Canada yet.

I should've just stopped at Barnes and Noble when I was cross border shopping this morning but it totally slipped my mind. Most likely because my mind was warped and distorted by my shopping list.

While waiting in the border lineup (a brief 10 minute one), I people watched because I wanted to see what everyone else did while waiting in line. Most people were on the phone. Not surprising. However, in my rearview mirror I could see the woman in the car behind me carefully parting her hair and tugging out the grays and then tossing them out her window. If I'd started that I would've been bald before the 10 minutes were up! The old couple in the car next to me fought the whole time. Ten minutes can be a looong time if you're fighting.

If you had 10 minutes to kill while sitting in your car, what would you do?

Just over a week left in my contest! Enter a comment to get your name in the draw to win Ghost Dusters books and $100 Amazon gift card!

I would be doing what you were doing, namely looking at all the people around.

Sometimes it can be fun to see how people act when they don't know they are being watched and hey, it might even give you ideas for a book.

Congrats on the 4 stars!!

I used to have to deal with traffic jams on a regular basis (such is the life of outside sales in Detroit). I remember listening to music, trying to get some work done on my cell phone, and a lot of people watching. I don't think I could read in that situation. I'd probably get lost in the book and have everyone honking at me. =o)

I usually listen to the radio and people watch but one day I saw more than I wanted. I was waiting in traffic and I caught site of someone in my rearview mirror. 'Urrgh' I exclaimed to my other half 'the person in the car behind is picking their nose!'. He then looked in his mirror just as I shouted in shock 'oh no, now they're eating it!!!!'. Then the worst part, I noticed a sticker in the car window which showed that it was allowed into our work car park and was therefore a colleague. We both then noticed that it was a woman that we worked closely with. Needless to say, a little less closely nowadays...
Sorry for grossing you all out but people watching can be dangerous!
