The one that brings back memories for me is The Creature from the Black Lagoon.
I was 10 when I crept downstairs in the middle of the night to watch this movie on tv and I couldn't sleep for a week!So who makes you scream? Is it Freddie, Jason, or do you avoid scary movies all together?

I love watching horror movies, but the one that makes me catch my breathe is "The Birds" and I'm more frightened when I saw a bunch of birds sitting on wires above my head.
Oh Dru,I love The Birds too! The slasher flicks don't hold a candle to some of these oldies but goodies.
I don't like to watch scary movies anymore. I think watching Hellraiser II in college broke me of the urge. Not that I've ever been really into them. Usually it was whoever I was dating dragging me to these things. And of course, my sister was a huge fan when we were kids, so whenever an old scary came on TV we were watching it. The one that killed me as a child was The Fly (the old one with Vincent Price, not the newer one which I will never watch).
