Denise Russell took this picture of her grandmother in 1997. Behind the old woman is the image of her husband. Grandpa died 12 years before this picture was taken.
Summer has finally come to the West Coast. It's not the warmer weather that's convinced me, it's the fact the kids are officially out of school tomorrow.
To celebrate beach reads and warm weather thoughts I'm giving away a copy of Diana Peterfreund's newest book, Rites of Spring Break. Diana is a good friend and fabulous writer and I know I can't wait to start off my summer reading with her newest release!
So go ahead and post a comment to have your name entered to win :)

Lovableluvbug, so nice of you to say you love my books!
Tori, I still haven't seen Ghost Hunters but it's on my to-be-watched-list ;)
I know its summer because my kidlets are getting ready to leave for summer camp in one form or another.
Dropped off the youngest today, middle one leaves for a 6 week program and the eldest is at a training to work at a summer camp.
Very neat ghost picture.
What an AMAZING picture! Thanks for such a great contest. :)
Ack. I hate living in BFE. So many great books are coming out and I have to wait to get them. :pout: Okay, I know I could order them online, but I love bookstores. I guess I could read something from my TBR pile while I'm waiting. ;o)
