Today's the Day!

I'm out to stalk book stores this morning and, yes, I'll even buy a copy of my own book. There's something about picking it up off the shelf and taking it to the counter that just adds a euphoric dimension to the writing process for me.

I'll be doing my first Devil May Ride book signing this Saturday at noon at the Seattle Mystery Bookshop.

Don't forget my SPOT THE BOOK contest. Let me know the book store & city where you spotted Devil May Ride & you’ll be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Draw date Dec. 12th.

So what are your plans for this terrific tuesday? Have you started your shopping? Finished?

Happy Release Day, Wendy. I haven't been out to the stores yet, but I'll let you know if and where I see "Devil May Ride."

I may have a few things still to get, but I think I'm mostly finished with my Christmas shopping. Yay!

I'm getting antsy for my book to ship!

Congrats, Wendy! B&N sent me an email yesterday that my copy is on the way. I'm going to try and hide it from myself as a reward when I finish my nasty revisions. ;)

I spotted it at Borders, Cranston, Rhode Island - a week before its release. My double take was priceless. Grabbed it. Victory lap around the store and then bought it. Finished it the same night. :-D It was brilliant, but I've got to tell you it's going to be a bloody hard wait until the next installment comes out. The first chapter of the next book was heartwrenching...

Still it's nice to see Sadie and Zack get steamy. :-D

Cheers,
Marianne

Karen, glad to hear you enjoyed Remains! Hope you enjoy this one too :)

Marianne, you had me laughing out loud visualizing your victory lap around the store he he!!

I bought their only two copies on the shelf. :-D One for me and the other promptly went into the Christmas box I'm sending an invalid friend in Australia. I sent her your first one and she loved it so much, I had an instant request for the sequel. :-D Now that I have purchased the latest Dean Koontz for her, the box gets wend its way across the water via several fat carrier pigeons next week. :-D

BTW, the lady is a psychic and was quite vocal with her approval of your handling of the paranormal in your first book...

Cheers,
Marianne
