Schoooool's out for summer

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces

Last day of school. The only day of the year my children truly appreciate Alice Cooper's contribution to rock'n roll.

Yes. It's true. The kids are officially home for 68 days straight. I admit it. I'm afraid. Very afraid. Very, very, very afraid.

However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's called MOMMY'S GOING TO NYC IN 11 MORE SLEEPS :)

Before that though, I have to survive my daughter's 14th birthday party sleepover and I have to finish going over the page proofs for The Remains of the Dead and all the while I have to keep the four kidlets from killing each other.

After that, I'm solving the problem of world peace.
How about you? What's your challenge this week?

Getting heavy furniture out of the house for my garage sale this weekend. The real challenge, though, is to sell it all so I don't have to move it.

Good luck on the garage sale! Hope you get big bucks for the heavy stuff :)

Wow, school just not got out? It's been out around here (Oklahoma) since the last week in May.

Rachel, I hope the kids in Oklahoma go back to school earlier then September!

Wendy -- don't forget when you go to New York to stop in at Strand Book store. You lucky girl!
I could sure do New York again and I was just there.

Holly, I can't wait to shop at Strand! Oh and I followed your journey with Pat with envy. Sooo wish I could've met up with you two in NYC but I'm trying to kill three birds with one stone ... my editor, agent & Thrillerfest. Of course, ahem, I don't really wanna kill my editor or agent.
